Estate Sale Find

On Friday I went to a great estate sale and walked away with just what I went for.
I've been keeping my eye out for a desk for my daughters room. I scrambled feverishly through all the rooms until I saw The Desk.... I claimed it as mine! Quick slapped a SOLD tag on and off I went to pay.  The best part of a two day sale is the second day everything is half off. I love getting deals! 
 I couldn't wait to get started on painting it.
 Goodbye 1960's green-hello simple clean white with new glass knobs.
 It took a bit of sanding and a few coats of paints, but I think for the little bit of effort it's paid off big time. My daughter LOVE'S it!

Spring

Spring is here!

This weekend I had to dig these out.....with them comes warmer, rainy days.

I love it!



After I saw these, I realized it's time to take it up a few notches.

I'm partial to the green.

Can't stop there...now I need one of these.....
