Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner....

One of the "gifts" my parents recently gave me from their trip to Arizona was a bottle of agave nectar. Honestly, I've never used it and wasn't sure what to even do with it. My girls love watching the Food Network and to my luck "homemade granola" was on the menu with the star ingredient AGAVE. I watched Claire Robinson of "Five Ingredient Fix" whip up a batch of granola-looked totally easy-just my style! The next morning I couldn't wait to put the agave to work. Just like Claire said it's fast and easy. I didn't have cardamom, so I subsituted with cinnamon and nutmeg. Next time I'll add some dried fruit.

Rain Free!

I'm beginning to believe I'm living in Seattle...this Spring has been so rainy.....crazy rainy.....driving us mad....with thoughts of heading south.....today was out second non-rainy day.....so we took to the park and checked out the birds...big and small......and other nature things.....

I just returned from my trip to Brimfield. How amazing!

There's so much going on it's almost hard to take it all in. I fell in love with all the industrial vendors, linens, upholstered furniture....

My girlfriends and I walked away with a few treasures....I will share what I got in another post.

Brimfield Bound

It's a girls weekend...we're off to Brimfield to check out the largest outdoor flea market. It's going to be a great getaway weekend with friends, boat loads of looking, hopefully some awesome finds and end of the day adult beverages-sounds good huh!

Sure sign of Spring!

Just the other day we noticed Mama Robin flying into the nest.....with excitment we think," yup she's back and so is Spring!"  Over thenext few weeks we'll watch her work tirelessly taking care of her eggs, feeding, keeping up the nest, and protecting them with everything she can.

The yearly nest....it's three stories high....some high and mighty mama we've got!

It's the best when we finally hear little chirps from up high. When mama isn't around we get a glimpse of little beaks opening for food. In due time they're off.....on their own, leaving mama.
