One of the "gifts" my parents recently gave me from their trip to Arizona was a bottle of agave nectar. Honestly, I've never used it and wasn't sure what to even do with it. My girls love watching the Food Network and to my luck "homemade granola" was on the menu with the star ingredient AGAVE. I watched Claire Robinson of "Five Ingredient Fix" whip up a batch of granola-looked totally easy-just my style! The next morning I couldn't wait to put the agave to work. Just like Claire said it's fast and easy. I didn't have cardamom, so I subsituted with cinnamon and nutmeg. Next time I'll add some dried fruit.
I love it so much I grab it on the go for a healthy snack. I think I could somehow include it into all my meals:) Here's the link to the recipe. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/claire-robinson/granola-topping-recipe/index.html
Enjoy!
